CELEBRITY MOTORCYCLE EXHIBIT COMING JULY 9, 2010!
The Reagan Library will display over 35 motorcycles chronicling the history and rich tradition of motorcycle culture. This exhibit will include the display of dozens of rare and storied motorcycles, as well as iconic movie motorcycles, including Arnold Schwarzenegger’s from “Terminator,” Chris O’Donnell’s and Alicia Silverstone’s from 1997’s “Batman,” and Will Smith’s from 1999’s “Wild, Wild West.” This new exhibit will run through November 9, 2010.

Annual America Supports You Freedom Walk

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and MilitaryConnection.com are proud to bring to our city the Fifth Annual Simi Valley America Supports You Freedom Walk on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Please join us as we remember the victims of 9/11 and honor our troops who continue to fight for freedom. The program includes patriotic music from a military band, brief remarks and a flyover. The program concludes with a 1.8 mile walk from the Library’s main courtyard down to Rancho Madera Community
Park where light refreshments will be served. Complementary shuttle service will return you to your cars at the Reagan Library. For more information, please visit www.reaganfoundation.org/events or call

Also, from September 1 through September 30 the Reagan Library will be collecting donations for U.S. Soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan in the Library’s main lobby. Items must be unwrapped and in original packaging, including: packets of trail mix, peanuts, gum, hard candy and beef jerky; snacks that are not heat sensitive and will not melt in hot temperatures; individual packets of lemonade or Crystal Light for water bottles; CDs and DVDs; used video games; AA batteries; stationery; and pre-paid phone cards. Only miniature hygiene items will be accepted.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation welcomes actor, writer, lawyer and commentator Ben Stein to deliver the Reagan Forum on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person and include dinner. Ben Stein attained early success as a speechwriter for Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford before entering the entertainment field, becoming an actor, comedian, and Emmy Award-winning game show host. Mr. Stein also frequently writes commentaries on economic, political, and social issues, along with financial advice to individual investors. Prior to his presidential speechwriting, Mr. Stein was a poverty lawyer and then a trial lawyer for the Federal Trade Commission.

Mr. Stein’s columns can currently be read in The American Spectator, The Wall Street Journal and New York Magazine. He has written, co-written and published thirty books, including seven novels, largely about life in Los Angeles, and twenty-one nonfiction books, about finance and about ethical and social issue in finance, and also about the political and social content of mass culture.

He is also an extremely well known actor in movies, TV, and commercials. His part of the boring teacher in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was recently ranked as one of the fifty most famous scenes in American film.
